Gotta Go Fuck Yourself!


I wish we'd gotten these a month ago but stacking a group to play perfect for hours on end with the faint hope that lady luck would smile upon us didn't feel much like an achievement.

It's probly not worth mentioning it now, I would have told you earlier but I haven't read your LJ in a while, gotta go was achiveable probly with other setups than this but basically

Tank with a prot pally, who tanks and heals themselves during burrow phase
Bring a rogue with mind numbing poison, he must Shiv every time he pops up it NEEDs to be on asap
3 other mele dps, we went with 2 hunters (one old OP BM, on marks for TSA) and a Ret pally ( to help heal a bit and provide replenishment for me)

you basically had to get lucky but if you could get him to cast one of his longer spells (the bug one locust swarm? or pound) right before he was supposed to burrow, he could be burned down to his next burrow point and it would skip a phase.

Using this stratagy you would basically be forced to throw yourself at it until you got lucky with casts, bt in the end I think it only took us like 5-6 tries.

It NEEDED to be nerfed it's stupid that it took that retarted of a stratagy, where you'd have to let youself be killed because he didn't cast a spell at a certain time to get it. But 4 min makes me sad also, I went with a prot war a friend who just hit 80 to help him get his gossamer, and the healer we had needed Watch him die so I stayed prot and just dps'd as prot after the first boss, and we STILL got gotta go for the war, 4 min was too far.

I was kinda disheartened to see Gotta Go! ger nerfed so hard..it's almost a joke now. I still have all the stupid voids to do myself though..it makes me want to cry lol

It needed "nerfing", it was ridiculous.

Don't worry though, in some ironic twist, all the others have been buffed to compensate. And by buffed, I mean you can no longer apply "clever use of game mechanics" to beat them.

Anyone who starts their Red Proto Drake journey today is in a FAR harder position than we were sitting on Gotta Go! for over a month.

Yeah, I'm down to just needing Less-Rabi and Consumption Junction out of laziness. Not that I'd ever use it lol...instant cast flight form ftw...the only thing I'd consider using is one of the 310% speed mounts.

Grats man, the mounts are pretty fun and fast but still ugly (plagued anyway, I prefer my twilight drake). We finally got immortal last week so I can afford to hibernate from wow till Ulduar I think!

btw, I still owe you that shield.
